About me
I've always loved designing and making things. From my earliest years you could find me engrossed in drawing or building things from whatever I could find, like food cartons and cardboard tubes. Most recently i find myself working mostly digitally, though i still do a fair amount of 3D printing and painting. Whatever it is that I'm working on, seeing an idea go from concept to reality, never gets old. I'm genuinely passionate about what I do, and I'm always hungry to learn more. I'm a hard worker and easy to get along with. For the past ten or so years, I've been navigating the world of solo and freelance projects, but I'm currently looking for something more long-term. Example Workflow
I was initially sent the shoe to get to grips with the various shapes, textures and overall design. After 3D scanning the shoe to nail down the silhouette, it was then digitally broken down into parts, cleaned up and re-modeled in multiple software packages including Maya and Zbrush. After perfecting the 3D model, the textures and materials were accurately replicated in Substance Painter. The actors clothes were generated, textured , draped and simulated in Marvelous Designer. The asset where sent over to additional artists who i worked closely with during the project, and the final animation was rendered and brought to life. Watch it below.
